Through the gaze of Mariana, a 4-year-old girl who lives in the border village of Moimenta, we observe the daily life of her family and her neighbours. After the divorce of his parents, the stability of the family broke down. Cinda’s mother will do everything possible to stay in the village, Mariana grows and at 17 she faces an important decision to leave the village to continue her studies.
